Grand Angle is a tour operator specializing in guided and self-guided hiking, biking and snow tours throughout France, Europe... and beyond!
The agency was born in 1983 from the meeting of Jean-Claude Praire and Anne-Marie Billault, and their many shared passions. Right from the start, Grand Angle was based in the heart of the Vercors Regional Nature Park, at an altitude of 1000 meters (3280 ft). The Vercors is an extraordinary citadel of limestone and forest greenery, perched between Grenoble and Valence, between the northern and southern Pre-Alps and straddling the Isère and Drôme departments. It's also a dynamic, unspoiled region: a perfect match for the trips we offer!

In the autumn of 1983, Grand Angle was born, with the sole aim of enabling founders Jean Claude Praire and Anne-Marie Billault to live out their professional passions (mountains, travel, nature and the outdoors) and love, while remaining based in the Vercors. Grand Angle's history, activities and destinations have always been in line with our passions and our vision of travel.

Grand Angle is committed to sustainable and responsible tourism. Our priority is to limit our carbon footprint by offering trips in France and Europe that are accessible by train or carpooling to reduce the environmental impact of travel.
Our itineraries, on foot or by bike, allow for total immersion in nature and landscapes, while promoting gentle, respectful exploration of the regions we cross. At Grand Angle, every trip is designed to offer an enriching experience while preserving the territories we visit.
