1983
Birth of Grand Angle, founded by Jean-Claude Praire and Anne-Marie Billault. Here is the very first Grand Angle brochure, a true collector’s item!
1987
Self-guided hiking tours take their place alongside our guided tours in our trip offerings.
1992
Grand Angle is moving into brand new premises at the start of the Méaudre cross-country ski trails, in the heart of the Vercors Regional Nature Park. It is the first travel agency to be located in the mountains.
1995
Launch of the “Munich to Venice” trip, a legendary route that remains one of the most beautiful hikes in Europe, along with the development of a true cycling range.
2012
Membership of the ATR association "Acting for Responsible Tourism".
2016
The agency's founders pass the Grand Angle torch on to their children David and Thomas.
2018
New presentation brochure; no more annual brochures, making way for digital communication that is more fun, comprehensive, and responsive.
2019
The construction to double the size of the workspace at our Autrans-Méaudre en Vercors main office is completed.
